annoyances for today and it's only 9:15 a.m.
OMG, it's a fucking 1 degree outside!
I so did not want to get out of my toasty bed this morning. So I was late, but didn't seem to miss anything in the ten minutes I was late. I dripped my faucet last night and that seemed to work. I probably should have continued it today but I though it was going to warm up but now it's only supposed to reach 13. :P Supposedly this is the coldest we'll get this winter. I hope so. I hate being cold all the time.
A heads up for tv watchers--the stupid shrub is giving some farewell address at the beginning of the nightly tv watching which is pushing things late on CBS, NBC, and Fox. ABC doesn't seem to be showing it. Neither is the CW, but since I don't get that any longer thanks to my stupid cable company's stupidly not paying the company that owns it in Kansas City it doesn't matter one way or the other. Thankfully the three shows I watch on CW (including tonight's) are popular enough that I can get them in other ways, but that means I won't get to watch them until the next night probably. Do NOT spoil me! Anyway, the big CSI deal will be running late and the new Bones that was supposed to be on doesn't look like it will be, at least not according to tvguide.com You might want to check your local listings. :P
So my plan to snuggle up on my couch and watch Bones and CSI and wait to get the other two and tape Ugly Betty (since I'm five eps behind) is all messed up thanks to the idiot.
According to my father he can't remember any outgoing president giving a live, televised review of his presidency. Well, at least it'll be short. :P
