Y'know, I wondered why every Chinese person--medal presenters, ladies carrying signs announcing teams, all 15,000 in the opening show, were pretty and/or handsome.

I knew about the fireworks thing--have no issue with that if they were real for the live show and then added in to what we saw on tv. Still, adding a zillion fireworks to the smog probably wasn't a great idea...
