Again, 100 words each; three in BtVS/AtS, two in DC Comics (both pairings new to me!)

Spike sleeps on a bed of red velvet, his porcelain skin and blond hair making the color of the coverlet deeper, richer. Angelus sits by the fire, sketching his lover in repose. It's Valentine's Day and after a night of sin and slaughter of happy couples, they returned to the house in Mayfair, sent the servants away, and celebrated in their own fashion.
Drying blood trickles from the corner of Spike's mouth, there are bruises forming on his wrists from the restraints. He is debauched and beautiful. A fallen angel nestled in velvet the color of blood.

Valentine's Day was sickening. The love and romance in the air made Angelus nauseous while William was simply bored and fidgeting, and the ball Darla and Drusilla had dragged them to was in a pink ballroom and was a costume fete as well.
It was simply too much.
While their women flirted and danced with strange men in satin breeches and powdered wigs from the era of his youth, Angelus dragged William into the garden and forced him over a stone bench. Their grunts and growls of pleasure drowned out the strains of overly romantic music wafting from the ballroom.

The war was over, the survivors trying to rebuild their lives, and old friends had found each other in the rubble of Los Angeles. Most days were spent through hard work and struggle, but one day of the year Cordelia insisted they be happy and relax.
Valentine's Day had always been her favorite holiday.
This year she found some green silk ribbon for Willow's hair and a pristine Ramones cd for Spike. Dinner was canned tuna and peaches, but they shared a hoarded bottle of wine as well.
In return they gave her kisses and the sweetness she desperately needed.
