little things
Well KU lost, but not horribly and we did play okay, getting within six points several times. Our first two touchdowns came off of turnovers which is always good.
KSU beat OU.
Baylor lost.
What this probably means is no Big 12 team in the playoff. :P
I started to catch up on ten months of Xmen comics. From emptying boxes upstairs of clothes etc. I now have several to use for comics, so I put one on the hearth and put comics in it throughout the afternoon. I went over there to put one in after dinner and Elektra was sitting in it staring at me.
My only mail today was a returned Christmas card I put in the mail on December 16.
It's October 18.

The thing with the brick streets is the only thing not true--it's not because of lack of funds; it's because uncovering the original brick is one of those quaint things my town does.
I have an earache. I don't know why.
I have written nothing and I'm tired. *sigh* I do have a dim idea for IWRY. I can do that tomorrow. I really need to edit/finish these bingo card fics--I have three WIPS right now. And then to big bangs, as I have one rough draft and one final due in around three weeks and they're nowhere near that point.
*sigh*
One good thing is that boss will be on vacay leading up to those due dates so I can write at work.
On the other hand, while flipping around during football, I discovered a Buffy marathon showing the last four (at least that's what was on when I found it) eps. I watched bits and pieces and the glory of Buffy and Spike in the end days. I hadn't watched any of that in years. So, that's today's happy. Buffy. Never gets old; still love it; damn both Fillian an Boreanz were well less bulked up, let's put it that way.
Oil wrasslin' *snicker*.
I don't like either Notre Dame or Florida State, why am I watching this game?
Okay switched to unranked Northwestern currently beating ranked Nebraska in the third quarter. Always want the underdog to win when they're not like unbeaten as in the other game; also, hate Nebraska.
I think I'll go boot Elektra off the couch and read comics while putting the heating pad on my ear.
