Oh good, while on the endorphin high of vacation I apparently signed up for the Derek/Stiles big bang. Good thing I checked to see when they posted the first check in.
*head desk*
Well, rough draft isn't due till September so... And I've got that forced soul bonding fic set post 3B I can use. It's only got 1200 words so far.
Speaking of TW....
SHIRTLESS PETER FOR THE WIN!
Good ep last night. Do not like the beard. Love Sheriff and Derek.
It's not Kate. I don't think she had anything to do with the money being stolen, actually.
I really hope it's not Chris gone off the deep end.
It's possible it's Gerard, but did he really care for Allison that much? Well, he did declare war on the wolves after Kate's death. Maybe.
But, I would LOVE it to be Victoria. My fanon is that Chris couldn't bring himself to cut her in half and she survived the knife to the heart.
Boy there are a lot of excess werewolves living in Beacon Hills. You'd think Derek would know this.
Exciting Le Tour yesterday with the second big contender, Contador, crashing out. He did try--rode for at least 15 minutes with a broken tibia!--but finally had to abandon. I guess the guy to beat is Nibali who took back yellow yesterday with a dominating climb of the last mountain. Tejay Van Garderen, an American hopeful, did really well, coming in sixth or seventh, and climbed back into contention. He's only just under four minutes back so if Nibali has a bad day... Of the other riders ahead of him, a couple are very young, Porte has been thrown into the leadership of Sky and I don't think he'll handle it for twelve more days so the only other real challenge is Valverde who has experience, age and wins under his belt.
It would be nice to at least have an American on the podium.
The other American hopeful had a horrible day, losing over ten minutes, so he's out of it.
Today's a rest day. Usually those are Mondays, but it's good. I can watch the All Star Game (at least the first few innings since we have the starting catcher!) and maybe catch up on some tv. I'd like to watch the last two 24s before I'm inadvertently spoiled, and I have the Strain, too. And a lot of other stuff. *sigh*
Arctic blast has arrived. It was 63 when I got to work. High in the mid to upper 70s and low 80s all week. I hope to mow after work tomorrow night.
Client of other attorney just dropped off his wife's ashes. I made sure, since attorney was in court, that he knew they were coming. Yeah, that's a first for me. Attorney is now delivering them to another attorney. I think it involves client's step kids or something. I don't really care to know.
After drafting about 16 evictions yesterday, I don't have much to do this week and neither does boss. Next week will be crazy with our monthly billing and doing the judgments/writs for these evictions, all at the end of the week, along with normal end of week stuff. *sigh*
And boss thinks the guy he goes out drinking with every Wed afternoon is out of town, so...he's gonna just be hanging around all week. *sigh*
So....blah....
