lazy weekend
As I'm buried in snow.
Ha.
Yeah, no. Instead of three or four inches of snow on top of freezing rain/sleet, we got about half an inch of sleet, maybe not even that much.
Still not going anywhere. I had a hair appointment this morning but she worked me in after work yesterday just in case we had snow etc. I didn't go to parents' last night because, again, the projection all day was it was going to start snowing anytime. Instead I had to spend ten minutes scraping a thing sheet of ice from my windshield after work.
*sigh*
Not that I'm unhappy or anything that there's no snow, though it's a lot harder to remove a half inch of ice and sleet from sidewalks than four inches of snow.
So, I failed at writing for fullmoon ficlet. Between finishing the TW reversebang and working a lot to get ready for boss leaving on vacay next week, I didn't have a lot of time this week. I also napped last night.
I did watch the three eps of Bitten and quite enjoyed them though Clay is too beefy for my liking. Jeremy, on the other hand, yum. Also forgot that Kara Zor-el was starring in it. I need to dig out the book. I do wish they'd used real wolves instead of cheesy CGI ones, though.
I'm not going to church tomorrow. I suppose I'll watch the superbowl, or have it on at least. I'll probably root for Denver just because they're AFC and in our division. I don't hate them as much as during the Elway as QB years. Though if Seattle gets behind, I'll probably switch to them. I do like underdogs.
KU plays at Texas at 3:00, kind of a toss up over who will win as Texas is definitely on the rise. Also looking forward to Syracuse and Duke (want Syracuse to lose, of course, because they're unbeaten, but can't stand Duke so this is a tricky one) and a lot of people are saying that Cal can knock off unbeaten Arizona later tonight. Also, ISU v. OU will be a good one (on at the same time as our game, of course.) Two Big 12 teams with both teams ranked today. Right now I'm watching the start of Kentucky v. Mizzu, also two teams I can't stand. I'll flip back and forth to NC/NC State once it starts when Richmond/VCU ends.
Hope to get some writing done on my trope bingo, maybe my 1000 words pic fic. First, need to upload some stories to AO3.
