Which is probably due to 1) not enough sleep; 2) not writing a frickin' word last night.
Boss is gone all morning, but I have a ton of work to do.
*sigh*
Probably good thing I didn't get those last two Yuletide pinch hits I tried for.
Also have fullmoon ficlet prompt to write by this evening.
Yesterday I ran around delivering bread to friends, none of whom were home. *g* Mom and dad had dropped off the wrapped gifts so I distributed them under the tree and also wrapped the one thing that arrived for mom. I expect an Amazon box today or tomorrow. I sort of watched Duke beat UCLA and watched Storage Wars and read fanfic. Oh, I did bake the sourcream raisin bread for myself.
It was supposed to freezy drizzle overnight so I was a bit concerned especially since I needed to leave around 7:15 in order to do the Order of Service for church by 8:30.
Not a speck of ice. It did lightly mist on me as I stopped at McDonalds to get a latte only to discover their espresso machine was broken. Oh well, no calories in my work coffee, even though I get the nonfat, sugarfree latte.
Got the Order of Service drafted and all the readings sent out. Of course the woman who was finding a long reading and reader didn't get back to me until like ten minutes after I sent it in--I already put the name of the reader in because I assumed he would do it, but I don't like having incomplete OofS.
The freezing drizzle/wintery mix/crapola that was supposed to start around dawn tomorrow is now pushed back till 2:00 p.m. so we should have no problem getting the altar set up in the morning. KU plays at 11:00 and I will damn well be home by then. Now it's supposed to snow from like 8:00 p.m. Saturday through dawn on Sunday. Yay. (that was sarcasm) But, they don't know, and since they keep pushing all this back, hell, it might not snow till Monday. Or at all. It was supposed to snow last weekend, remember, and we barely got some light freezing drizzle. If it does snow 4-6 inches, the church should be able to get the parking lot plowed if it does stop by 7:00 a.m. Hopefully I can get out of my street. May have to put together the snow blower except I probably don't have gas/oil for it. *sigh*
Let's just hope it doesn't snow more than a couple inches or at all. I can drive on that. Also a lot of snow might derail dinner Sunday night.
Stupid weather. It was fucking balmy yesterday.
Well, need to work and write and stuff like that.
