Funny that Spike/Drusilla could even count as a rare pair since they're an OFFICIAL pair :D But Joyce/Spike. Hm. Not sure I could deal, there, lol!

I'm quite fond of Spike/Drusilla as a pairing and I think canon really did them justice, especially during Season 2. I admit that I struggle sometimes as a writer nailing Drusilla's quirks just right so I don't write her very often.

I love the idea of Buffy/Lindsey, but haven't read a fic about it. Do you have any recs?
Speaking of Lindsey, I also really dig Lindsey/Tara and Lindsey/Fred stories. :P

Another 11 of the Spike/Dru stories on AO3 are mine. Heh. Love them, love the historical possibilities. I really can't understand why they aren't wildly popular. The only thing I can figure is that the early fans that wrote the pairing haven't stuck around to put things on AO3 and the whippersnappers who might've loved the pairing binge-watched the show and moved on to Buffy/Spike before fully digesting the exquisite charm of Spike/Dru. Also, she's bloody hard to get right. People don't seem as interested in historical fics these days, which could also be part of it.

Although I can pretty much ship anybody with Spike, I seem to write the canon pairings. Well, there was that one Skip/D'Hoffryn fic...

I really like rare character fic, and often don't care if there's any pairing at all. But I'm always up for some Darla/Spike!

And a grand total of 1 (wait! Two! Tag fail!) Drusilla/Spike fic is mine. (I have a couple of others I should probably upload.) I don't get why it's so rare either. Drusilla isn't the easiest character to write, but DAMN.

I've never written Dru/Spike fic but I've never understood why there isn't more of it out there. (I only came into fandom 2 years ago and don't have "the long view".)
