it's raining and annoying

So, still no deal made to allow non TMC and a handful of other cable companies viewers in Kansas and eastern Missouri (including KC) to watch the KU bball games. What a fucking surprise. *rolls eyes*

Best quote so far: $&@# you zenger for making me do this much work to watch a ku basketball game in the freaking state of Kansas. And I will only get more pissed tomorrow when the feed blows dick.

There are work arounds to get espn3 blacked out games but the feed will be the crappy one I get on my tv. Also, why should we HAVE to work so hard to watch games we've been able to see since at least I was in college (and that was a long long time ago)? Guy is right.

For some reason I had to sign into the damn forum site and of course couldn't remember my password or user email (finally guessed the latter so they could send me a reset code). I guess that means I can comment now.

Yeah, not doing that. Some of these people are cray cray.

So far today I've forgotten to bring to work feminine products and my pills. I brought the pestle and bowl I'm using until I can get to the pharmacy tomorrow and buy a new grinder/pill holder, but not the pills. Oh well, I'll just have a pudding or something when I get home and take my metformin then.

Also the firetrucks were at the courthouse. No one seemed to be racing around putting out a fire, so I'm not too worried.

I had to go to court yesterday in my heels to file documents because of two idiotic people/policies. First, my boss was scheduled for an eviction hearing this Thursday and late last Friday his client decided to have him ask for his continuance. Three of the four divisions at the court I can do this with a simple phone call to reschedule. This one, no, I had to draft a Motion and Order to Continue. And my boss is kind of unavailable to sign crap! I asked if another attorney could sign and the admin said "I guess so". I guess so???? There's no other option lady!

Then mid-afternoon I got a call from an employer who I'd sent a Release of Garnishment to because the employee filed bankruptcy last summer and didn't include our client's debt so we didn't know. The employer insisted they couldn't release it with just a "note". A what? It's an official court document. It's not ever going to be signed by a judge. She insisted on the file stamped copy. Like that makes it more official. The clerks just stamp stuff; they don't read it. I could file anything. This is the first time in probably releasing three hundred garnishments an employer has insisted on a file stamped copy. I always just send it as soon as my boss signs it in order to stop the garnishment as soon as possible; sometimes it doesn't get taken to court for several days.

Sheesh.

So far today, nothing stupid has happened. But, it's only 9:30.

Speaking of the time, someone called yesterday to say they'd be in first thing this morning to make a payment. First thing was an hour ago.

Castle was cute but also annoying (mom agreed) in that he automatically jumped to Satanism when he saw the pagan symbols for the elements. What was more annoying was that the professor they consulted didn't correct him.

I emptied out my Dyson vacuum--that was fun. Enough cat hair to make two cats. I have the Animal model for a reason. It did run better after that.

I watched Revolution (damn Bass just gets sexier and sexier and hoo boy were they alluding to him raping women, which the show has alluded to before and not just him, but also Miles, imo) and Criminal Minds as I hole punched yesterday. May see if the last two Walking Deads are available online today since I forgot the Netflix dvd as well.

Also hope to write some. We'll see how that goes.

people are stupid, ku basketball, work sucks, tv blather, cleaning is the devil's work
