why isn't it friday?

We now have six altos in choir, four regular sopranos (hopefully one more will return soon from a long hiatus), two very strong basses and two weakish tenors so Lisa moved to tenor and I'm joining her on songs that are new (once I've learned a song in one part I can't easily switch while Lisa can) especially when the tenor part is written in treble cleft. Gives us much more balance especially if the guy who showed up a couple weeks ago and sang bass returns. I still can't read the bass cleft and I prefer singing alto but we just can't get men to join, so for the good of the choir etc. Plus I enjoy singing with Lisa.

So, that was last night.

I got the rest of Bones and Sleepy Hollow watched while hole punching at work. I plan to watch OUAT at lunch when boss is out. I watched the first two Castles last night--very enjoyable but I want her back in NYC at the precinct. Also watched Survivor--good riddance to bad rubbish etc.--and CSI which kept twisting and twisting again. Lots of tv tonight. I won't get to watch The Originals until it reruns tomorrow night due to too much tv tonight. I'll be much happier when it moves to its regular night of Tuesday.

Darn, boss came in early.

It may actually be raining briefly out there. The massive storm has mostly been rolling through just north of us. Looks like we're just going to get clipped by the tail end.

After I left work yesterday I stopped to get gas and there was a young woman next to me cursing up a storm at I'm assuming someone else in the car. I'm not a prude by a long shot but even I was uncomfortable. Every other word--and sometimes at least two in a row--literally was some form of fuck. And she was basically screaming. Glad there weren't any children around. Y'know, my parents used to have screaming matches when I was a kid and they cursed a lot but the NEVER did it in public.

Then, as I was nearly home, at a t-intersection, an older man, fifties or sixties, drove across in front of me (after barely stopping at the stop sign) shaving!

Stupidity comes at any age, I guess.

Got the pegging scene done. Have at least three more scenes to write--Derek comes to talk to Stiles after Lydia tells him to; Derek/Stiles sex; and then some form of Lydia/Derek/Stiles. Won't get it done by any means by tomorrow night but it's over 10K now and it doesn't have to be finished to send in the rough draft and summary. I'll probably put in some descriptive paragraphs for the missing scenes and run a spell check because half of it was typed when I had really long nails and kept hitting the wrong keys.

It's very different for me, very light and funny with just a bit of angst. And NO Peter, can you believe it?

Okay, probably should try to look busy, but first...

Day 21: Favorite Sex Scene

Huh...The imaginary one between Dean and Cas in my head?

I do love the Sam/hippie chick one in "Clap Your Hand If You Believe". I love that episode and while the sex scene isn't blatant or long, Dean's reaction is just hilarious.

meme, choir, writing, tv blather, stupid people
