great start--strike out

Sheesh, trying to eat lunch and not cry at the pre-game ceremony at the Red Sox/Royals game is getting harder and harder! When they introduced the guy who just got out of the hospital whose two friends each lost a leg--choke up!

I'm a bit baffled why during the photo retrospective, they played Cohen's Hallelujah. I love the song but it's not particularly uplifting, in my opinion, kind of dark actually. And they played the whole thing, not removing the darkest verse like Shrek did.

But, hopefully life back to normal. Go Royals, even though you don't have a hope in Hell of winning with all the emotional support for Boston. Hopefully last night's tv will be shown this coming week and in order. With no tv to watch, not even DOOL, I got the neverending chapter actually ended and posted. I need to read the mating games entries and vote. And hope to write some today.

Got my hair done, picked up a package at the post office, deposited my tax refund--naturally it got here yesterday a couple hours after I gave up on it coming and paid half my credit card bill which I'd hoped to pay off with the refund. Now I'm back in my pjs.

While I was making lunch I'm pretty sure I heard that last night's postponed game will now be a double header tomorrow, so no movie this weekend. I could redress and go today but...nah. So, may not get to 42 as next weekend is shot due to sermon writing, auction, sermon giving, concert on Sunday afternoon.

I will force myself to get up and go to church tomorrow.

Need to read comic books. I haven't in like two weeks. Need to get back to that.

And start working on several fics due in May and June.

not so lazy saturday, baseball, writing, emotional stuff
