so yesterday was horrible
It's just...kind of unbelievable. I remember being glued to the tv during the Oklahoma City bombing but I just couldn't face this so I watched mindless tv all last night (and napped on the couch).
Boss did not go to Topeka yesterday so he was here and so I got no writing done.
He's in a meeting now and will be gone for about an hour this afternoon, but most likely no writing will get done. *sigh*
I really hope to get a lot of writing done while he's on vacation, and tv watching. I miss the days when he took off ten days every month from like April to September.
The next chapter is from Derek's POV, for any of you who care. I've never written that. I have a lot of it in my head so hopefully I can get it out before it all fades away.
Other attorney agreed that the Braves are going to stomp all over the Royals tonight and tomorrow, but I'll still be watching them.
Eye appointment tomorrow after work--I'm going to need bifocals. *sigh* Though it'll be nice to not have to slip my glasses down my nose to read anything.
Gah, our bathroom reeks of cigarette smoke--client used it and must have stale smoke on him. I actually like the smell of fresh cigarette smoke but not stale. Ick.
