dumpy hump day
Why was boss here by 9:00 this morning on a Wednesday, his usual lazy day?
Because he was at some meeting in Topeka at 6:00 this morning and got to shake the governor's hand.
I managed not to make a "yuck" face.
Hopefully he will do his "off most of the afternoon" thing. He expects to.
I have to call and reschedule the eye doctor because the appointment is fifteen minutes before my tax appointment. I knew it was coming up but didn't have the exact date and time.
I'm over 2300 words on the ficcy and would like to finish chapter one today if possible.
My sore arm is a little better.
I'm finished going through the two boxes of incredibly out of order handwritten stories from my younger days to pull out the stuff I want to read. That took several hours because it's so out of order. I was much more organized when I was a teen. I had separate file folders for different stories within series I wrote in junior high. I had a notebook for the Laure/Darry stories (half of which are no longer in the notebook and are all out of order and scattered through the boxes for some reason). I had another notebook for about six other stories I wrote in high school and college.
But then I also used to have all my comic books organized too.
Oh well.
Choir tonight. We're singing at both the Easter Program and Service so I have to go to both and take up the whole morning. I'm not staying for the potluck. I've decided to make the stew on Friday afternoon since I have it off for Good Friday, and then will have leftovers for Easter.
The barely worn black 42C bra I dug out to wear today fits much better so I'm thinking the other ones are just stretched out. They need to last a couple more months because bras are stupidly expensive and I don't want to have to buy new ones now and then again by summer. The black one is making my er...well, they're perkier. *g* I tried on a couple knit dresses from a couple years ago and they both fit now too. I may wear one on Friday when it's going to be in the 60s and the other one for Easter as 60s again.
Pedicure today as well. Not going to put on KU blue because the last time I did that they lost like ten football games in a row. *g*
Well, expect boss to wander back in any minute from his walk to the jewelers so better finish this letter and then go have lunch.
