stupid weather redux
The threatened ice and two to four inches of snow turned into no ice and maybe a quarter inch of snow which left a light dusting on my street and wet streets everywhere else. Completely pointless. So I was able to pick up the tax stuff this morning easily. Did wear my ankle boots just for traction because sidewalks and parking lots are a bit slippery in places from slushy dusting.
Decided to fail at porn battling. *sigh* Muse is just missing right now which isn't good because I have 15K of Gabriel big bang words to write by the 28th and I'm not quite sure what I'm wanting to write.
KU won again, barely. Afterwards the ESPN guys were talking about the two really good schools right now, Michigan and us, and said that even though we're not scoring well right now, we find a way to win. Let's hope we keep doing that, though I'd prefer we just start scoring well again.
Wore my parka this morning since I have to trudge to court at some point today and it's going to be cold and windy. It fits again, zips and everything. :)
My three hole punch crapped out on me yesterday so I need to order supplies today. It was crappy anyway--I basically had to stand up to get any leverage. I'm pretty sure it was purchased by previous evil secretary so I'll blame her.
I'm going to give The Americans a shot tonight, well, after choir practice. Found my "Lovesong" music to rehearse for the Love Service on February 10. I have no idea why I have a pile of music in my dining room credenza. Probably a good place to stuff it when I was cleaning.
The internet is running really slow here recently. Yesterday, while failing at hole punching, I was trying to stream an ep of Last Resort and it kept buffering like every second. We're supposed to be on a T whatever line!
Do I need to have seen the last Die Hard movie to see this coming one? Dad seemed interested in it. Mom and I are going to Beautiful Creatures--I'm holding off on reading the books--she loves Jeremy Irons; I love witches.
Well, probably should get to work since I have to leave early for my pedicure. I think I'll go with blue or green or purple.
