football not so much ficcing yet saturday
Apparently I'm watching "Farmageddon" (KSU v. ISU, two ag schools).
Well since our big rivalry (the much better named "Border War") slunk away to the SEC where, today, they will be slaughtered by Alabama, we no longer have one. Also, we suck. However, basketball officially started last night with Late Night, and we are a top ten team in pre-season polls, so all is good with what really matters for sports at KU.
Water has been falling from the skies since last night. After a chilly week in the 50s, and two days of overcast skies with no rain, now we have thunderstorms and the chance for tornadoes. Weird ass weather.
I need to get writing. Instead, I napped for three hours. *sigh* My "e" key is sticking--that's going to make writing interesting...
Last night blood sugar was down to 142, the lowest it's been (70-110 is normal). It was back up to 191 this morning but that's the first time it's been under 200 two tests in a row.
Well, should go make lunch...
