mucho better

ETA: Oops, apparently I didn't post yesterday about how I barely lasted 4 1/2 hours on Tuesday after posting and went home around 2:15 with a mild fever and then napped for nearly 3 hours...

Did a lot better yesterday. Worked until 3:45 and then went to pedicure and then to Target. I did skip choir practice. I wasn't overly tired but I had pushed so much harder than the day before and really didn't want to overdo it. So, I watched the Royals last game and, despite the loss, did get to see the first Triple Crown Winner win in 45 years. Great ovations from our crowd for him. :)

I've run out of testing strips since I got error messages a couple times. I really hope you can get more than a supply of like ten! I assume it's like the batteries that come with a tv remote--they last like a week unlike real batteries. With my test kit you get a tiny supply of strips so I'm hoping you can get a hundred at a time or so in the real world. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Since my blood sugar, though coming down, is still well over normal, I'm not worried that suddenly it's going to plummet by tomorrow at noon. Even in the hospital without eating it never got below 178. I know, very high. Probably a good thing this was caught because I really don't have any symptoms--no feet pain, wounds heal normally, eyesight okay.

After the game I watched Survivor, then an old Big Bang Theory, completely forgetting about SPN until about 11:30. Bad me.

I really liked it. Jensen looks slimmer; Jared's hair doesn't suck (okay, I'm shallow *g*). Of course I'm sure the slash world is exploding over Benny but I'll hold out for Cas to return. Really good episode, not enough classic rock, though.

Don't like the new LJ cuts at all. I keep hitting the back button and ending up on my profile page.

There's a folk concert at church tonight and I have a ticket for a pre-dinner as well, but I'm not sure I'm going to go. I am a bit more tired today--more constipation overnight that kept me awake, though I'm pretty good now, having gone twice, stupid body--and don't want to push it as today is my first real full day of work.

A client sent us 72 pics, all in separate emails, so I get to save them all to my harddrive and then resend them to my boss in one email so he can print them on the color printer in his office. It's not like they're 1000KB files either. They're like 25-60. All of them could have fit in one email! And, not to disparage the old because I am one, the client is like under 30! I thought you kids knew how to do everything techwise.

I did not watch the debate or any of the post-debate. I'm gathering that Romney was strong? Blech.

Oh and now some nutcase in Topeka swears her mother helped deliver Obama's mother to a Topeka hospital to give birth to him. Uh huh...okay...what? There's still a pending lawsuit here to remove him from the ballot, but even our idiot, evilass, never-in-the-state, Secretary of State wants it dismissed because ballots have already been sent out to military and people overseas etc.

Kansas: land where people go to to promote any whacked out idea. *sigh*

Well, need to get to those stupid pictures...

politics, work, tv blather, nutjobs, stupid body
