trying to update this thing more
I think the scissor thing is kind of ugly.
That said, I can't actually see it at work. A regular cut has three dots instead of the scissors. A cut to another journal/site is normal looking. As far as I know I'm using the same version of Firefox at work as I am at home where I can see the scissors...
Technology confuses me.
I got put in a queue at my cable company so I went ahead and mailed my payment to the address on the old style bill from two months ago (as they changed the bills last month and no longer include a payment address). Naturally as soon as I did that, I got a response and I was directed to pay here locally and not in Atlanta where I sent my payment. Great. Hopefully they'll still get it.
The Royals continue to suck. Five losses in a row. *sigh*
Last night I "watched" them on my computer (in that I pay MLB $19.99 a year to listen to the local radio and get their live graphics, except they're usually a player behind and not $99.99 a year to get actual tv coverage) while I wrote. Got to 9300 words and the zombies have just arrived so maybe I won't need to stuff sex into the thing.
Then, of course, the rough draft due date was extended to Friday.
It was fun to see Jayne and Capt. Tightpants together last night. :) Also, yay for Eureka! Boo to stupid siffy channel for canceling it after this spring. What, the show too clever for them? Not even montersauruses in it?
Ringer finale tonight. I hope it comes back but I won't be sobbing in my coffee if it doesn't. Glee does disco. I didn't like disco the first time around (or the second/revival), but we'll see.
I'm still tired from little sleep two nights ago, but at least the high winds are gone. Cold, though. Had to pull back up the heavy red blankie which makes Elektra happy because she likes to sleep on it rather than the cotton quilt. On the other hand, for a while, Raine was sleeping on my head. IDEK
