Yesterday my boss was supposed to be in trial all day so I brought two netflixes to watch. Naturally, his trial ended at 11:30 and I barely got one watched. (I had VERY little work to do and did hole punch crap during the watching of Jesus Christ Superstar--I'm not that big a slacker...well, I would be if I could...)

Anyway, I did not bring in Fright Night today, still have very little work to do and my boss was sick overnight and in for about fifteen minutes and may or may not be back in four hours for another brief meeting. Other lawyer is here for about half an hour and then gone.

Like Sherlock I am "bored".

Well, not really--have tons of fic to read.

Kudos for Days of Our Lives for picking up a story line dropped about five years ago with a different Will. I knew he did it. Then I stopped watching for two years and the show changed a lot and a new Will was hired (who can cry like very few male actors can, man that kid is great with emotions). Though how EJ figured out he's gay, I dunno. That still hasn't actually been articulated, though it's obvious grandma Marlena knows, too.

I watched the national championship last night. I don't really like either team but after listening to LSU players talk mucho smack and say things like "Alabama doesn't deserve to be here" (but never saying who did), I was thrilled to see LSU go down in major flames. If Bama could have gotten the ball into the endzone a few more times it would have been a huge blowout instead of just 21-0. LSU looked pathetic! I don't know if they just figured they'd have it easy and slacked off, or what. I'd seen them play a couple of times during the year and that was not the same team last night.

KU basketball moved up to #10! Yay!

Yesterday I noticed that some of the light pole banners downtown have "Beware of the Phog" and a Jayhawk on them. Too cool! I remember when the Beware of the Phog banner was a paper thing made by some students and hung over the windows. Since then it's become a permanent and canvas banner. There is definitely something special about the Fieldhouse. In my biased opinion, it's the premiere site for college hoops. Small, overheated, LOUD and proud, with the best chant in the world (famous for a hundred years). It always sells out. That all helps with home win streaks. We've led the nation in that several times over the last 25 years.

Last night I thought I was getting a cold, kind of headachy, feverish, tired, drainage...but today I feel fine...well, I never feel fine, but feel normal.

Well, should go make some copies or something and look busy while the other attorney is here...

football blather, ku basketball, work, tv blather
