yeah not so much
Oh yeah, and the blizzard completely missed us. I just got a call from a client in Oklahoma who heard we got hammered. I had to laugh. We got a dusting of snow overnight and the white painted stripes on streets in my neighborhood were a bit slick, but by the time I got to work downtown it was obvious it was 1) warmer, 2) they got less, because there was hardly any sign of snow and no slickness. The concrete steps down to my office were dry!
I wrapped all the presents that I have so far (brother is always slow on sending me stuff) but need to bow/ribbon them. I made my chicken curry salad for the office party today. I got office gifts ready.
I probably should write that Yuletide story. *sigh* It's in my head. I doubt it'll be much more than the required 1000 words as it wants to be a first person vignette. I also didn't realize that the deadline wasn't midnight tomorrow but, for me is 7:00 p.m.! That means it has to be written by tonight as I don't want to risk the archive crashing at 6:45 tomorrow or something.
Problem being is that I actually have a large stack of work, a party, and I leave early for my hour long pedicure appointment, then I race home to change for the Christmas non Eve dinner. I probably won't get writing until after 10:30 tonight. *sigh*
Tomorrow night and Friday night are set aside for Fandom stocking stuffing (which means writing first). I have 25 I want to stuff.

At least gas prices are below $3.00 for the first time in what seems forever!
