beautiful out again, completely deceptive

Guess what the City did last night around 7:30?

GAHHHHHHHHHH

I saw the plows make three passes. Two feet of ice snow crap piled up again at the end of the driveway again.

Mom brought me to work. After I dug my trashbags out of the mound. I couldn't figure out where to put the dumpster yesterday afternoo so had to take the bags out. White on white. I'm betting the garbage men don't find the one that is still partially buried if they come before my driveway cleaner guys. Then I climbed over the mound and tried not to fall in the dog doody.

The streets are weird. Some, like mine, are really good. The main arteries are down to the sand and salt. Downtown is crap. Apparently our main downtown street stops being a priority at the street the corner of my office building sits on. Still, it looks promising for comics as that's on the cleared side of the main street and instead of plowing the snow onto the sidewalks like last time, they piled it in the middle, then hauled it away, and the store owners all shoveled paths to the curb.

I am so sore. I've fracked my right shoulder again like last year. I think it's like my mom's knee used to be, where the padding in the socket is disappearing so bone is rubbing on bone. It's only bad in the winter when my arthritis is worse. I couldn't sleep on it. In fact, I couldn't fall asleep last night. I don't know why. I was warm and it wasn't too light out--have to sleep in darkness. If I lay on my left side, my shoulder was okay. So, only got about four hours of sleep. Yay.

At least I have new tv tonight. For the first time in years Thursday isn't my busiest night. In fact, I can DVR all the shows I watch. A couple years ago I had four things at 7:00. Now I have two at 7:00 and two at 8:00. Of course now I have three things at 8:00 on Friday. :P

If CW screws around again, I'm suggesting fire bombs.

Oh, and it's -11 degrees outside. Luckily there is hardly any wind as I had mom drop me half a block down as I wasn't sure anyone would have shoveled the steps--they had, of course. Also, her new car has heated seats and she had it warm for me. :) She was supposed to bring the 4WD truck but it's frozen shut (and not locked, just frozen). Last year dad cleared enough of the garage to park it inside. This year, no. Doubt this'll be the last time he does that!

Well, I have a ton of work and someone came in Tuesday since the mail is here so I have that to open.

And probably a dozen messages on the machine. Yay.

work, family, stupid city, stupid body
