I just realized that not only is the apocafic rough draft (still one paragraph and going nowhere) due on the 5th, I have a third of a sermon and service to prepare for on the 6th. If I don't get the Gabriel BB rough finished by Saturday, I'm afraid I may have to drop out of the apocafic. I hate doing that--I never do that--but I have no clear idea of what to write. Nothing's gelling.
And sometime before the 31st I have to help the new treasurer prepare the end of the year tax crap that I happily turned over to our accountant here at work yesterday. I'll do the quarterly reports but I want nothing to do with the 1099s and W2s.
I did actually shave my legs this morning which was a big mistake. Used up most of the hot water in the bathtub (I'm so blind I can't shave in the shower without my glasses) so my shower was lukewarm. Remember in winter to shave legs the night before, moron.
I did watch four Chuck eps last night. Casey just got fired. Chuck is not as goofy on missions anymore. I like badass spy Chuck even if Sarah doesn't. There's not enough fanfic, though, and too many White Collar crosses and since I don't watch that... At least it was one of the small fandoms on crack_van last month so that helps.
KU managed to win. Seventeen straight against Colorado. Yay. Game was fast paced and too many one and outs on offense, with streaky shooting, but we hit a bunch of free throws to win it which is unheard of for us. Hopefully this Saturday will start the new home winning streak. If we can't beat K-State, we're doomed. Pre-season pick to win the Big 12 and they may not even make the NIT, let alone the NCAA tournie. No way they're winning the Big 12. They pretty much suck or their coach does. Never have liked him.
