Interesting weekend. When KU scored a touchdown right before the half and then let Colorado do the same I gave up on them and turned off the radio to watch other Big 12 games on the telly.
Only to have KU come back from the biggest deficit ever in the fourth quarter, 45-17, and win by a touchdown.
Apparently the local tv station is no longer showing replays of home games which just sucks because I would have liked to see that miracle.
So, last night I was going to clean the family room while watching more football and do laundry except I got killer constipation cramps that pretty much lasted until around 4:00 this morning. I dozed some between midnight and then. I was fine by morning but exhausted so I skipped church and then slept through pretty much the entire San Diego game before racing out to my parents' to work at three.
Then the Chiefs managed to lose in overtime in a game that has to have had a record number of penalties. It was ridiculous--flags on nearly every play. The game lasted more than four hours so CBS was way behind tonight. My DVR doesn't recognize when this happens so I have it set to record TAR from 7-9 and CSI Miami from 9-11 just to be safe but because 60 Minutes didn't start until after 7:00, I added an extra thirty minutes to CSI. My mom has given up on CSI Miami entirely because of this. Fox does it right--it has post game until 7:00 and then shows the cartoons on time but because CBS has 60 Minutes to show everything runs late.
Only two days of work this week! But I have a pile of crap I need to do before I take off so I'll be busy.
