That looks cute. Very mature-looking. Though while so much? Pamper day for Caitlin? My rule for tipping is usually a dollar or two for a simple cute and I guess in your case maybe 5 for special? You actually don't tip alot for hairdressing, from what I've heard.

I had no idea how much it would be, I just wanted to get a new 'do and some highlights, and I didn't really care what it cost ::shrug:: Every once in a while, I get this urge like "I WANT A NEW LOOK AAAHHHHH"

I've got a few friends who are hairdressers and they say 5-10% is the standard. They aren't waiters, so they don't depend on tip money for their income, but the tip is a way of knowing that they did good work that you're happy with.

I LOVE THE CUT! It really flatters your face shape and the highlights really make your eyes pop. :-)

Thank you very much! :D And I'm relieved to hear what you said about the tip--I was thinking the same thing: "they don't rely on tip money, so I probably don't have to give $30" But then my parents both told me I should have given at least $20, so I agonized over it for the day. Bah, another reason why Japan is the win--no custom of tipping!
