After a Sleepless Night

It is almost five in the afternoon here in Holland. Since I had a sleepless night and worked very hard today, I have pulled a card which pictures my day until now. I have picked the Ace of Coins from the Fantastic Menagerie Tarot.

Fabulous card. Just lovely and nurturing...

This makes me want to drag out my King Arthur tarot cards, which I haven't looked at recently.

I once really wanted to learn more about tarot. I got a very good book and had a couple of good decks of the cards. But I just didn't seem to have the knack, I guess. (Or maybe it was more about finding the free time to learn. I always have so many irons in the fire at one time...)

It just warms my day to read your posts, I must say.

I´ve learned tarot with Mary Greers´ book Tarot for Yourself. The process comes down to looking at the picture and applying it to yourself. Then it is not that difficult. But it does takes time to sit down and read. For me there must be a benefit in things like this, then I will do them. Tarot makes me smile often, and most of the time I am curious what card I will pull, that makes me doing it. (hugs back)
