It is just before Christmas. It is dark outside and chances are great that it is cold and rainy; we need to make our own light, love and passion. Again we read an excerpt of Clare’s Third Letter:
"[Let] not (…) bitterness and confusion envelop you, O Lady most beloved in Christ, joy of the angels, and crown of your sisters. (12) Place your mind in the mirror of eternity; place your soul in the splendor of glory; (13) place your heart in the figure of the divine substance (…).”
Clare recommends Agnes to place her heart in the figure of divine substance. The heart is the place of life, love, and passion. Our heart is the centre of ourselves. Divine substance is the essence of what is sacred. If Agnes puts her heart in the figure of divine substance she will be surrounded by the Divine itself.
The question for today is the following:
What if I place my heart in the figure of divine substance?
A beautiful card came at the table, six of Pentacles from the Victorian Romantic Tarot.
If I put my soul into the figure of divine substance, my body feels warm at the place where my heart is.
