(no subject)
Update on the allergies stuff. Aside from what looked like a bug-bite on the pad between thumb and forefinger of my left hand, I've had no swellings since I stopped taking the cinnamomum verum capsules. I have no idea if taking ten days off was enough to give me a sensitivity to it or not. I may try it again in a little while to ascertain if that was the problem, but not just yet.
In other news, I've been experiencing more and more frequent BSODs. My computer therefore goes in next Tuesday for an overhaul. Aside from a soundcard update a little while back, it's been a while since it was overhauled, and will probably need some upgraded components again. I've already started backing up my files, and have prepped my laptop* for use. (*The trick, of course, is to find a spot for it on my desk that will also keep my cat off of it. *sigh*)
I still have the looming threat of DAMNATION as a floating-but-fading-fast deadline, a short story, and of course a book and a half to write. Oh, and a three-book series synopsis. My least favorite part of my job. I know the publisher (or at least the editors involved) want this series...but I need to make the presentation as appealing as possible all the same. Professional pride on the line; represent, yo.
