All in all I finished four puppets so far; Steelers player, Bills player, a Belle inspired princess, and an Inuyasha one. The Inuyasha one was for me to see how well I could translate a defined character. I think he came out okay although I'm not thrilled with his eyes (not grumpy enough, I think). Up next is an Ariel themed princess and then maybe some more anime ones. The kids who play with them don't care who they are but I get a bit of fangirl joy from it which makes the six hours minimum of work a little less trying.
I do know I will never do another football player with so many stripes; I hated sewing the blue to the red and then the red to the puppet over and over again. I do like how the Bills player looks like a zombie in the scan, though. Oh, and the Inuyasha one looks orange for some reason (probably the opening in the scanner since it was too thick to allow it to close properly) although he is the accurate shade of red.
