Ren Faire
We went to the Renaissance Festival today. I always love going, and this is the first year going that I haven't spent an obscene amount of money. I bought a head wreath thing for my blue dress, and an over skirt for my black dress. And that's it, really.
Before this year I had only ever seen the Ded Bob show once, and last year I saw the hypnotism show, which I felt was a little lame. Today, we saw Ded Bob, a little of the Washing Well Wenches (long enough for them to pour a bucket of water on some guy who was being an ass), The Scaliwags with Captain Jack (who looked and sounded awesome, and was surprisingly a good singer), and then we sat down for Puke and Snot, which was so horribly wrong and awesome, especially since we were in the second row and there were a bunch of small children right in front of us.
Other thing I found interesting: Dion was there. I only know this because just before we got ready to leave he walked up and said hi. I felt this was a interesting surprise given that last year he wouldn't come closer than 20 feet. It's good to know that he's mellowing a bit I suppose.
Anyway, today was awesome, but I am also a lobster all over my shoulders. It was overcast all day, so I figured I'd be ok. Guess not. :P
