This week's adventures....

Well, Crosby Independent School District finally released their little heathens for the summer on Friday. And what better way for some of them to start than summer than to go to Vacation Bible School right away? That's right ladies and gentlemen, VBS starts tomorrow morning at 9:00am (8:30am for VBS workers and volunteers). I have been given the task of being the Bible Storyteller for VBS, which means I must decorate the sanctuary with safari stuff and special signs with the lesson them of the day on them. I must also tell the kids the bible lesson of the day in a way that the kids will listen and have fun. This means I will probably abduct some of the youth volunteers and use them as actors in the bible stories. The plays will be acted out in front of all VBS kids from PK-6th grade. After the bible story, I must wander around the rest of the actvities and help out where I'm needed So for the rest of the week I will not be getting home til noon and will spend much of my time be locked away in my room making signs and decorations for VBS. JOY!

I must also make time to go shopping for Cassi's B-day present. Any suggestions would be warmly welcomed. Must also shop for Sarah...again any suggestions welcome.
