Fine, yes, I did watch "Doomsday," I TOTALLY cried, I'm going to miss Rose, I don't care if other people hate her, Mickey was freaking awesome (NO WHINING POUTY FACES OMG!), I want to shank Jackie, WTF is Arcadia and do I REALLY have to wait 'til next September to see The Runaway Bride?

There's nothing onscreen to suggest she isn't his biological granddaughter, and she isn't human (she's telepathic and super-intelligent and since she recognises Gallifrey on sight and non-Gallifreyans weren't allowed on the planet, presumably she was born there)
What was Arcadia?
It's never been mentioned before.
How was Gallifrey destroyed?
The Doctor destroyed it. (This isn't from the old series - the Time War happens offscreen, last time we saw the Doctor, when he was Eight, Gallifrey was still around. But he says in Dalek that the Daleks and the Time Lords were destroyed in the same moment and that he made it happen.)
What was the Doctor to the other Time Lords?
He was a rebel - the First Doctor nicked a TARDIS and went on the run, getting himself exiled in the process. When the Time Lords caught up with him he was executed (this is how Two regenerated into Three) and exiled to Earth. Later regenerations were still at odds with the Time Lords but ended up getting called in if something was threatening them, and he ended up becoming President at one point... but basically he didn't like them much, and they didn't like him.
According to the movie, he's half human. Er. WTF? Is this canon? Is this taken seriously?
The rows over this are neverending. Most people don't take it as canon. There are endless fanwanks to explain it away.

What did he have that they didn't?
