Okay, was watching "Window of Opportunity" on the SG-1 marathon, and as much as I love the episode concept and all the cute little interactions between everybody...why the Jack/Sam? Seriously. I love that episode, but it always loses me at their kiss...his self-satisfied staring at the end doesn't help much, either.
So, basically, this has led me to this almost paranoid state where I fear that, as the show is in all likelyhood ending with this season, the writers will go absolutely insane and bring back Jack for a reunion with Sam, his not-so-secret love whom he would have shagged years ago had it not been for unfortunate time warps and military code and other things that they'll probably bring up as examples of what put their fated love on hold. *gag* I'm seriously scared. That would just hurt. I hope to hell that they don't end the season, end the entire show, with something that painful and that against most fans wishes.
Ooh, know what it would be like? Ending Due South with Fraser taking FRANNIE out into the tundra. Or ending SGA with a awkward Elizabeth/Sheppard scene. Like, he would come through the Gate after a mission where they almost died, yet again, and they would look at each other across the room and hold hands and leave together and we would all know and shudder at the fact that they had "OMG, we DIDN'T die" sex, even though the credits would start just as they left. And Rodney and Zelenka would go after each other in mutually frustrated lust, and all of us, the fangirls, would be scarred for life just from the inconsistent characterization of poor John.
...
Okay, now I'm not so sure if I want to post this.
Erm...in other news, Doctor Who coming in September. Woot. *awkward shuffle*
