Issues, part two

Dear Diary,

I told someone, via e-mail, something I should probably have brought up and dealt with years ago but never had the nerve, and now I feel like I'm going to pop a vein and have a seizure while waiting for them to get it, read it, digest the information and react. I'm not expecting a particularly negative outcome, though, but there just are things that are likely to cause some sort of a reaction even - or especially - if you tell the person in question only years after the fact, and they're one of your dearest, closest friends.

Will eventually regain ability to function. Yes, yes I will.

EDIT: No one died, screamed, broke up relationships or went apoplectic. Someone did hyperventilate slightly for around ten minutes and someone else wanted to put her head through the nearest wall, but in the end, it all levelled into a reasonable conversation and everything's all right now. Everything. Is. All right. And life will apparently go on.

Amen.
