Will you be using your Barnes and Noble card today?
New theme for the LJ to celebrate the season! I'm so glad it's fall again! It means less use of our expensive air conditioner, more snuggling, leaves changing, seeing family more often, and most of all that winter is just around the corner. I'm not usually a fan of the cooler weather, hence why we live in Tucson, but it is welcome when you are trying to live without a swamp cooler or ac. Also I get to start thinking up a Halloween costume and decorate for it! I think I just love most things that happen in fall.
As an update I need to let you all know of some of the major things in my life recently. I'm now working for Barnes And Noble as a bookseller part time to help offset the lack of money. We purchased a new member of the family, Inti, an 8 week old hellion who is part Siamese and part orange tabby. Kesi is adjusting well and no longer flips out when we leave to go somewhere. Our house is mostly livable but I still need to get on a few boxes and find a place to put our day bed for guests. I auditioned for the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra and will be playing 2nd bassoon for them for the rest of the season. It's a non paid position but we're doing some awesome rep, like Tchaik 4 and Scheherazade.
Getting out of school has really brightened my mood towards life and I'm so happy to be where I am. Perhaps now I will finally start on those wedding plans like I've been promising! Andrew deserves it and I'm finally in a place where I feel secure enough to do so.
