Aren't they supposed to be smart?
Do engineers ever look at what they write? I'm supposed to quote a control for a pump station, but there are so many inconsistancies between one section of specs and another. Add in the drawings and I wonder if it's all from the same job. Sometimes I think they just cut and paste from old jobs. The control I'm quoting now called out for a pump we haven't manufactured in over 6 years. Calls for a 208v pump with a 460v panel.
