february first, two thousand and six.
yeah.
so the sad thing about this week is that sissy died....sweet sissy, the carmen's dog and the mother of my dog pinto. she had cancer. i guess she died peacefully but it was still really sad. sophia is so stoic.
anyways, i hate dwelling on death. the thing that sucks about the widdifield side of my family is that they're all fixated on death and discuss it ALL the time and it's just so irritating. ugh.
anyways....i got "Quiet is the New Loud" by the kings of convenience, i'm in love with it. Also "When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks Like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'Fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might So When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own Hand and Remember That Depth Is the Greatest of Heights and If You Know Where You Stand, Then You Know Where to Land and if You Fall It Won't Matter, Cuz You'll Know That You're Right" by Fiona Apple (that's seriously the album title, great innit?)
and they're greaaat albums, i'm in love with them, honestly.
hmm what else is up? last night i went to the carmen's house and sat around helping sophia with the marcus garvey report she had to do. i felt like killing her after it, but i didn't cause then we made some brownies....we put olive oil instead of vegatable oil in them, and they were SO SO SO GROSSS!!! ewwww the batter....ewww...but then they were actually pretty damn decent once they were cooked, and then we played a card game with Natalie and her friend Megan, who eventually read my palm. So it was a productive night, even though I didn't actually do any homework.
