flist, I need your help
This is an appeal to all SGA lovers on my flist, and I think that's pretty much all of you.
I've finally dragged one of my friends into the fandom after much cajoling and shoulder poking (and international postage) and she loves it. :::does happy dance:: The problem is she's only seen to the end of season 2 so far and it is taking forever to get season 3 from Blockbuster. She hates being spoilt for shows and has already seen a 'Save Carson' banner on a site (for SG1) which has highly worried her and she is pretty wary of going near any more sites just in case she gets more spoilage.
So can anyone out there suggest some good fanfics that don't contain any spoilers for season 3 or 4. Preferably McShep but once well written all are welcome. Her words were:
I never even imagined MacKay and Shepherd together until you mentioned it a while ago and now I can't stop thinking about them and I'm a little desperate to read a bit of slash with them in it but the only story I have read I didn't think much of and I was to scared to search for more so I'm going to wait until I've watched till end of series 4. I like stories that have a bit of build up to them the friendship into romance stories which end in sex, but most of the stories I've read seem to be just about the sex.
So please help a newbie to the fandom and post your best recs below. I'd like to get a few to tide her over until S3 arrives (S4 is already in her possession which makes it that bit harder to resist.) I'll let you know what she thinks of them.
