Yonghwa's Banmal Song + Piano version.
This gave me goose bumps when I heard it first because of it's sweet beauty that I wasn't expecting.
This is a piano version of Yonghwa's Banmal Song from We Got Married by Melissa @ Youtube. She is a Malaysian Chinese studying in Melbourne. She says she's been playing piano for thirteen years. I first found out about her when she posted her piano cover of Yonghwa's Love Light back in May.
As the viewers of WGM know, "Banmal" song is a song that is yet to be released. We haven't even heard the full song, yet. Yonghwa said that he is finished with the composition but is still working on the lyrics. From very little of the song that Yonghwa previewed us with in last couple of episodes of WGM, Melissa came up with this beautiful piano cover. She is amazing...
What really surprised me once again was that Yonghwa is giving us yet another beautiful composition. Not even a full song yet, and this song is touching my sensibiities already with just little of it that is previewd to us. Oh, my... this is just so beautiful, especially the chorus part. I also really love the little bit of lyrics that Yonghwa has written for ths song so far. Yonghwa really has a true gift for song writing and feel for song lyrics...
I am sure "Banmal Song" is just a working title for this song... Well, I hope it is anyway.... Also, as someone who really loves Yonghwa's lyrics as much as his compositions, I am slightly disappointed that Seohyun is going to work on the song lyrics along with him, especially since I've never seen her work before. It is a fear of unknown type of thing....
However, since it is going to be their "couple song", it is only right that she participates in the song making. I hope her lyrics are as beautiful as his lyrics and his composition.
It would be so beautiful if they perform this song live with Seohyun on piano and Yonghwa on guitar. His composition and her lyrics performed live on stage with him on guitar and her on piano... How stunningly beautiful and perfect would that be for this Christmas season? ^^

This is a cut from WGM in which Yonghwa is singing his "unfinished" Banmal Song to Seohyun as a preview for the song couple of weeks ago. Only lyrics for chorus part is written so far, according to Yonghwa.
For those who are unfamiliar with "banmal", "banmal" is a Korean word for "informal speaking", which is an ongoing subject for this couple on WGM right now.^^
ETA: I love the slight differences in the lyrics revealed by Yonghwa on this episode and then in the following episode this past Saturday. Yonghwa always used similar but slightly different lyrics for different verses and chorus parts in his songs, so that both sets of lyrics could actually lyrics Yonghwa wrote for the song or it could be that he made some changes to they lyrics as an improvement. There are very few minor changes, but new lyrics seem to flow much better, imo...
Of course, the last part of the chorus really was a surprising twist. ;-) ^^
