(no subject)
no matter what you may hear or think....
having to get up out of bed at 3 am in the fucking morning, to completly scoop out and then vacuum 2 inches of calcium sand from a 50 gallon long tank, and then bathe, and completely cover a pissed off 3 1/2 foot python in neosporin....is not that fun.
I kept hearing this noise, sounded like jazz almost nsoreing..you knwo when your nose gets super super serup dry and it makes that horrible high pitched noise? well..i came out because i figure it was either jazzy or the rats fighting. so i go crouth beside her and wait for the noise to come from her or to my left where the rats are. well it comes again. and it came from near the ktichen. my heart froze. only thing over there were the snakes and birds and neither of those animals couldve posslby made such a loud horrible noise....i started to panick as i stood there in front of jake and the birds and held my breath and waited. then it came again. from right in front of me.
It was Jake. I freaked out completly i threw on clothes, foundm y glasses pulle dhim out and checked him all over. his stomach looks much much worse...i had jazzy hold him ( she woke up for some reason while iw as running around crazy) as i scooped out all the sand and cleaned out the tank. I replaced it with a blanket. i scrubbed the sink clean three times and filled it with water. i gave him a bath...he started getting kinda pissed right about now.
i pulled him out to inspect his belly again..his scales on his belly look horrible...their cracking and splitting god let this be fixed the next time hhe sheds ..im practically in tears now as i dry him off and start slathering him with neosporin ( was recommended to do so by an expert dont worry)
this is disgusting..and slimy..and its hard a fucking nough to restrain and control a pissed off 3 1/2 foot python when he's DRY but when hes all slimey and gross and covered in lube?!
Yeh that is definatly a TWO peson job. but i managed to effectivly cover us both in sopious amounts of triple antibiotic. hes back in his tank checking out the blanket.
I'll be making an appt with a vet tomorrow. I'm so worried :-S I hate thsoe fucking asshoels that had him before me and neglectedhim this badly
