Dear Yuletide Goat/Santa/Being/Person!
Hello! Welcome to the most wonderful time of the year, and I'm super-excited you're writing a story for me. Here's some expansion on my requests:
SLEEPY HOLLOW (TV series)
I'm interested in an OTP between Ichabod and Abbie, and what that might look like. Domestic scenes are great, or work scenes if you'd like, either fighting against the Apocalypse or in some bright future where they avert it all and live to tell the tale and have grandchildren and etc. I'm not opposed to Katrina joining them as part of a triad. If Ichabod and Katrina's relationship ended, I'd like that depicted or referred to in a realistic way.
(I anticipate the relationship between Ichabod and Katrina may have shifted on the show, but I'm a few episodes behind as of 10/28. I'll be all caught up before Yuletide, though!)
THE LYNBURN LEGACY (Sarah Rees Brennan)
The final reconnection in the Lynburn legacy may have been a little too perfect, but I don't care. Kami and Jared became their own people, and still decided that they loved best being together. Y'know, really together. I'm intrigued as to what that relationship might look like 10, 20, 30 years down the line. Do they travel and freak strangers out by how in tandem they are? Do they settle in Sorry-in-the-Vale and have children? Poor children who can never try to hoodwink one parent by telling the other parent said something different? Give me a glimpse of their life in the future, and bonus points for Angela (and/or Holly, not necessarily still together), how Kami's parents are doing, Aunt Lillian, and old Man Whatshisname with his sheep. And epic tales of Rusty's laziness, in memoriam.
THE MAGICIANS (Lev Grossman)
The Magicians by Lev Grossman was a pretty engrossing read (pun not intended), and I really do not like the main character. He is such an ass. I do like Alice a lot - she could be mean and petty as well, but she was also an amazing woman and magician in her own right. I want to see what happened to her from the other side - how did she actually change when transformed into a niffin? Did her conscious, Alice-governed life really end with the transformation? (Yeah, I've only read The Magicians at this point. I tried to see if Alice is written about more in the two subsequent novels, but that's super difficult to do without spoilers. So, uh, just fulfill this as creatively as you can with awesome Alice moments both pre- and post-niffining?)
