Well, it seems it's time for me to go on a "god hunt".
A monk...Jigo. He worries me, for it's obvious he's greedier than any boar. He's obtained an order from the emperor himself to bring back the head of the forest spirit. For a generous gold reward. The emperor likely believes that old wives tale about the head granting immortality.
As it is, the monk wants me to help him, to kill the god. I have the unfortunate misfortune of having a debt to Jigo and I keep my promises.
Most of my girls, that is the women I bought off the brothels, are worried that I'm not bringing them with me on this god hunt. Jigo brought quite a few trappers and hunters with him, but they're a shady lot. Irontown is nervous. We don't know what Jigo will do after the Forest Spirit is dead.
So yes...if you recall that one entry I made, I was thinking about the death of this Forest God (but let's be frank, he's more of a spirit). A quick solution to my current problem but one that I would rather avoid. Now...it seems I have no other choice.
