All I Want Is You...
Still reeling from the excitement of the 24 trailer!! Is this next season going to be awesome or what? I love how all the websites that I frequent are now coming alive with the 24 goodness. Woot for a second wind of inspiration!! Tonight's shows were interesting: Dancing with the Stars had their elimination results and Jerry Springer went home. It was sad but expected. I'm going to miss the Jerrmeister. He was so darn entertaining and could dance a step or two. Who doesn't love Jerry after watching Dancing with the Stars? I taped Lost and The Nine so more on that later. For now, I'm going to vote Emmit Smith all the way. The man has style when he dances and can do both Ballroom and Latin without looking boringly perfect. I heart Emmit!
So I've been listening to my Bryan Adams CD called The Best of Me while driving to work and have found lots of good Martha/Charles songs. Therefore, here are two I really like for the couple. This first one is my idealized version of their relationship (again!!) where Charles says he's coming back to her even though he knows he has hurt her in the past. I really like how the singer says he'll give it up all to return to the woman he loves. I only wish Charles would do the same...then again I did write a story where he DID give up the presidency to take care of Martha *grin*

The next song has a similar theme...I guess I'm in a forgiveness mood. Basically the person singing realizes the mistake he's made and is asking for the girl to forgive him. He knows he's missed up and just wants to be near her again. So sad to see but beautiful to hear.
