Oh I hate when I find a mistake like that! I did that on the one I made for you. I had to pick out half the border, because it was over one square too many.

My mistake was on a border, too. If it had been in the body of the picture, I might have tried to fudge it, rather than unpick. But it's rather obvious when you have a regular geometric pattern on the border, which ends one square before it ought to. Very annoying.

Oh no! *sympathises*

I could find your needle for you, though :-) I'm good at standing on them finding them....

I recommend shoes for a while.

I'm good at stabbing myself with needles. When I've run out of thread, I always stab my needle either into the arm of the couch, or into one of its cushions. I do sometimes get confused and firmly stab it into my own leg. Luckily I use a very blunt needle for cross-stitch, so haven't caused myself too much harm. Yet.

Ooh how annoying for you. When a sewing session is going that badly then giving up is definately the best idea.

I then put the needle down somewhere, and still haven't found it.

Bacchus is very glad I haven't found any of my sewing stuff since we moved. It means he's had a break from 'finding' my pins and needles for me ;-)
