Although I spent most of the week doing healthy and improving things outside in lovely scenery (*ahem*) we did spend a small amount of time lounging on cat-covered couches, eating cheese and throwing dice.

The basil! We should carry basil on all future adventures. Or a similar herb. It was so handy to have a non-sentient life-form in the party.

Given how we were hurling basil through mysterious portals with gay abandon, I'm half suspecting that we will one day meet a terrifying sentient basil superbeing who has evolved for a billion years in a pocket universe out of time, and has now come to wreak hideous revenge.
