Christmas has never really been my kind of holiday anyway, as kids I guess theres always some kind of wonderful attraction to it. Once you get a bit older, and purse strings become a bit tighter, it becomes a much different issue! Did have a lovely meal with my family though :) Had a good giggle and watched Alvin & The Chipmunks. Quite a cute movie actually! Nothing brilliant, but adorable nonetheless!
Oh! However!! As part of my christmas pressies, Dani returned a DVD to me which I'd bought a couple of months back at a charity fair. Tis a kiwi TV series from 2005 called Maddigan's Quest. Only 13 episodes, haven't watched much of it yet, am currently on episode 5. But so far is pretty good! Is about a travelling circus troupe, magic acts, acrobatics, music/dance, etc etc; the costumes are pretty cool too! Old fashioned materials in a contemporary bohemian style. Not a very good description I know, but can't really think of any other TV series to make a comparison with! Have to watch it really!
Anyway, must dash! Have a job interview in 5 hours and need to tidy up the house!
