Well, Kevin's not home yet, so I'm on his computer because I need to get some of my bookmarks. Since Squishy's hard drive was wiped clean, I lost them all, but I've got lots of them on Kevin's computer. Seems to me the easiest thing to do is to post them here in LJ, and then bookmark them when I'm on Squishy. Besides, you lot might find something you'd like to view. :)

It's All Fun and Games

Catena (http://www.catenamanor.com) -- a weekly webcomic drawn by my friend Tracy, about a house full of anthropomorphic cats, plus a spider, a dog, two angels, and the Grim Reaper...yeah, it's a little off the wall.

The Misadventures of Hello Cthulhu (http://www.hello-cthulhu.com) -- Cthulhu, the Colour, and a few of Lovecraft's other creations get sucked into the realm of Hello Kitty and company. Scary, but fun.

For Better or For Worse strip fix (http://www.fborfw.com/strip_fix) -- the only daily comic strip I bother keeping up with, featuring the life and times of the Patterson clan since the late 1970s.

-- no idea who made it, but it's hilarious.

Planet AD&D's humor page (http://www.planetadnd.com/humor/misc_humor/index.php) -- a big long list of files and pages where you'll find gamer-type funny things. Included are the Top Ten Signs You Play Too Much AD&D, the rules for being an evil overlord, and of course, the Dead Alewives' audio files about D&D.

The LiveJournal Dungeon Adventure (http://thesurrealist.co.uk/dungeon.php) -- we were all doing this one a while back! Now that the popularity has eased off, it's much easier to play without it locking up.

Hand Puppet Theater (http://www.jerrythefrogproductions.com/MovieTheatre.html) -- endlessly entertaining parodies of popular movies, done in script style with accompanying hand puppet images. Be sure to check out the links for X-Files, Sideshow and Guest Puppet to find even more hilarity. The parody of the Star Wars Holiday Special is, quite possibly, the only thing in the world that even remotely justifies that travesty's existence.

Something Positive (http://www.somethingpositive.net) -- the webcomic to end all webcomics, this is the ongoing saga of the misanthropic Davan and his peculiar assortment of friends, relatives, and enemies. Drawn by Randy Milholland, aka dlobok.

The Chuck Norris Facts (http://www.thechucknorrisfacts.com) -- a very funny list of "facts" about the legendary Chuck Norris. For example: "Chuck Norris counted to infinity. Twice."

The Brunching Shuttlecocks Archive (http://www.brunching.com/archive.html) -- although the Shuttlecocks no longer update this site, their past hilarity will live forever. Includes movie reviews, ratings of everything from Korean snack foods to Scooby-Doo characters, and some of the strangest cartoons ever presented. (Rudolph: The Lost Scene haunts me to this day.)

Handy Web Designing Tools

AdDesigner (http://www.addesigner.com) -- make and download your own free banner ad.

TinyUrl (http://tinyurl.com) -- make a ridiculously long domain name into something short and simple.

HTML Tags (http://www.columbia.edu/~sss31/html/html-mean.html) -- the meanings of some commonly used HTML tags, and how to apply them to your own page.

Flaming Text (http://www.flamingtext.com/start.html) -- great resource for animated banners, buttons, etc.

JavaScript Word Count (http://javascript.internet.com/forms/word-count.html) -- quickly and easily count the number of words in your document. Very handy for users of Notepad, Wordpad, and other writing programs that don't have their own word counter. Includes instructions for embedding the counter in your website.

Anatomy of a Fangirl, Part I: Points of Interest

Anatomy of a Fangirl, Part II: Great Fics

14 Valentines (http://glitterati.illuminatedtext.com/vday/index.html) -- an archive of 14 stories, mostly slashy. I'm not a slash fan, but these are really well written.

Benedictio Amicorum (http://www.sugarquill.net/read.php?storyid=733&chapno=1) -- Ron and Hermione ask Dumbledore for a charm to help protect Harry.

Naked Quidditch Match (http://www.nodignity.com/freaks/nqm/nqm1.html) -- eh, it's hard to explain this one. But it's hella funny.

(My fanfiction.net profile -- see below -- has more of my favorite fics if you're interested.)
