Innnnteresting.... all female SGA team
Hey, Stargate SG-1 ran for ten years and it's now year five of SGA and we finally get an all female team?
While I'm still not happy w/ the way they handled Weir (that's a totally different rant about the bloody PTBs who were too stupid to know what they had!) and then Carter (who wasn't even there for most of the damn season!) or not even reusing characters from past seasons, we have the official casting for an all female team now on SGA.
Christina Cox (Vicky Nelson, FTW!) will be leading the team and Nicole de Boer (she was the lost love interest for John Smith/wife of the Sheriff on The Dead Zone) will be playing Dr. Alison Porter.
I can only hope that we get to see Ms. Cox more on SGA, because she just so rocked as Vicky Nelson on Blood Ties. (Again, poor scheduling and not super smart moves by network people didn't let that show last as long as it should have!)

This will be one ep I will look forward to, if only to see Christina Cox leading a team, because she's one of those strong character actresses - she's like made a career out of choosing the character that is constantly fighting the square peg/round hole scenario, I guess you could say. :)
