Well, texted the coworker I usually trade with for my pedicures today to find out if the thieving coworker had been fired or not and apparently the theft of the tip money along with the nail polish bottle were the final straw.

Boss Lady showed her the door yesterday and today asked me if i could come in an hour earlier for a couple's massage on

Ah remember when a couple years ago the spa where I work forced me to demonstrate an ayurvedic facial massage to Barb the new este that day even though I was having a bad day (my niece had learned the day before her baby had basically died in the womb & she'd have to have a D&C) and I wanted to go to lunch with my co-worker Kyra... but Connie said no I could not leave the premises for lunch & had to "Train" the new este? Well, I demonstrated to her and then after that was assigned a paying client & Mark had to work with her too. And interestingly, that day she stole $100 out of my purse and Mark's sunglasses along with some skin care products. Funny how when I said the next day that someone had stole $100 out of my purse, the boss was all like "Are you SURE you had it in there?" Yes, I had been paid for something... there was two $100 bills.
"What are you doing with that much money at the spa?" Ok like we had ever had something stolen while at work before? And they've never asked me to break a $20 or a $50 if I had change?
So, they looked her name up online... and found out she'd been accused of shoplifting before... and declined to hire her. (Ah after the fact huh?)
An the really bizarre thing, a couple weeks later they found out she'd been into the store of the person who referred her to the job at the spa, and bought a purse that day. How much was the purse? $100 and she paid with a $100 bill. Coincidence... I think NOT.
