Grrrr. I hated that aspect of high school. Kids can be so mean. I'm glad Clark took off his parenting cap (being upset that Athena hadn't told them where she was) and put on his fellow outcast cap. That was great advice about quitting versus walking away. I'm glad to see it helped her.

It's hard for Clark because he hasn't been doing this parenting thing for very long, so he has a lot of different instincts of what to do. Luckily his better sense and having lived through this wins out. Plus, he's more patient than his father was.
