Things...
Hello everyone. Last time I posted, Dawn and I were getting ready to head back to WDW. Well, it's been over a month since we've returned. I guess part of my lack of update is because I've been dealing with some seriously messed up shit with one of my "friends". I'm not going to go into it here because I'm finally pretty much over it and thinking about it will just upset me again. I haven't even uploaded my pictures to Facebook yet... I should get on that.
That said, things are good otherwise. Waiting for school to start and getting more and more excited every day. Next week, I'm going to start getting the stuff I wanted to make made. This week, I'm going to get papers sorted and more organized. I'm so excited to get to start at the beginning with this group of kids. I'm excited to not have that stupid TAKS test hanging over my head constantly. Oh yeah, I forgot to post about that. I was moved to 7th grade for this coming school year. I am not sad at all. In Texas, 7th grade is life science. I am excited for that.
Shark Week is next week. I've been planning a small little celebration to start it off on the 31st. I'm going to be making some simple seafood recipes for my family and generally being a shark nerd. When I'm not sorting papers, I need to make some Shark Week icons and a new layout.
I have decided that I am going to purchase season tickets for the Rampage this year. I just need to decide if I want a full season package or a half season package. Besides the price, the difference is 20 games and a 10th anniversary jersey. I'm leaning toward full season. If I miss a game (most likely the Sunday ones because of reheasal) I can trade the ticket in and take Dawn to the next one. Come to think of it, I can just skip a game anytime Dawn wants to go. I am so excited to say, "I'm a season ticket holder."
Other than the above, nothing really exciting going on. :) I'm GOING to post in here more again. I think I'll aim for three times a week and hopefully I'll be able to handle that. Anyway, off to make some Shark Week icons. :)
