Leavin' on a jet plane!
Uncle Jimmy found someone to help drive the Uhaul trailer to Montana, so Mom's taking the short, quick way to Montana - she's flying. She and the cat (Wilson) will get on a plane Thursday morning, and be here verrrry late Thursday night.
I'm reckoning Mom will sleep in my room, since Wilson will need comforting snuggles and the only other bed in my house is in the cat-free room. I still have my comfy recliner, so all should be well until her bed arrives. I don't think Wilson will take kindly to all the critters over at Donna's place.
This is all so exciting! Finally I can give her her birthday prizes and everything.
I'm gonna slow down on the painting. I know I can't finish it before she gets here, and so I got a kind of exhausted attitude and went "screw that." I'll keep plugging away at it, but not as hard as I was.
Now if only I could find my ipod and my Serenity patch I'd be the happiest camper out there. Oh well, I've got a few weeks yet to find those. Hope springs æternal.
